OCAD University Admission Requirements For International Students

The OCAD University is a higher education institution established in the year 1976 and located in the city of Toronto. It is the Canada’s oldest institute of Arts and Design. The university began with the intention of the development of Art education in Ontario, with this intention, the first school of Arts was established in the year 1876. The method of teaching in the institution was changed in 2008 by Sara Diamond who was the then OCAD president.

Masters In Contemporary Art Design and New Media Art History

Eligibility

To be eligible for this admission, you must

  • Have an average of 75% during your last two years of study
  • have a BA or its equivalent
  • Demonstrate creative and conceptual competence
  • Demonstrate experience as a practicing Art/design professional

Criticism and Curatorial Practice

Eligibility

To be eligible for this admission, you must

  • Have an average of 80% during your last two years of study
  • Demonstrate experience as a practicing artist, critic, curator etc.
  • Demonstrate creative and conceptual competence

Design and health

Eligibility

To be eligible, you must

  • Have a “B” in your last two years of study
  • Have a clear potential in the diverse disciplines relevant to the degree.
  • Demonstrate creative and conceptual competence
